California wine country wedding food pics

Hello! I'm sorry to put so many pics up, but the wedding was gorgeous! Beautiful site
(Casa Vecchia in Kenwood), great event planner (Green Girl Events), radiant couple, and abundant sunshine; hence, great camera shots.

From the top: herb and shallot rubbed tri-tip with grilled peppers and onions, the salad of local greens and and an avocado herbed vinaigrette with nasturtiums, the bread boards (and Roz, one of my awesome helpers), the orzo salad with shaved summer squashes (grown for the event by my good friend), toasted pine nuts, lemon, and thyme, and the hors d'oeuvres plates: homemade Rosemary crackers with honey and olive-oil marinated goat cheese and grilled peppery figs (picked from a friend's tree) and classic bruschetta with grilled bread.

There wasn't a kitchen, so we had to build one with a tent, some tables, a "sink", and a BBQ. A total blast and I'm super proud of the event.

If you would like to see more pictures of this gorgous event there is an amazing gallery on stylemepretty by Hendricks Photography Weddings.

Take care and much love from kitchengretchen

Not TOO many photos - I was expecting radiant faces and beautiful sites, but believe me, the food looks god enough to eat! Especially those crackers! Hope you saved some for me.

Wish I had more time to snap more pictures, even of the food! The bride and scenery were stunning and she told me she'd forward some photos for me. By the way, the photographer told me he'd been to many weddings but my food was the best he'd ever had, hands down. Makes me feel great!

Not sure why Hasan's name appears. We need to switch around the account- I should figure that out!
